Mayor Oliver G. Gilbert III -The Mayor is the presiding officer at the Council meetings and a voting member of the City Council. The Mayor executes all Ordinance, Resolutions, issues Proclamations on behalf of the City and official designated to represents the City. The Mayor appoints the City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk, subject to approval of the majority of the City Council.
