- I’ve always said that if women would unite and work hand-in-hand to help each other, we could have a stronger social impact on our community. I further believe that women are unique in our own special way and we truly have the power to make a world of difference. I hope we can work harder to bring ourselves together and embrace being women - strong women. However, no matter our strength as a community of strong women, we cannot forget or do without the tremendous support from our “constituent counterparts.” Women in the Arts Miami takes great honor in recognizing, not only the amazing women in the room today, but as well a group of equally talented and generous men. That which drives us - so much more than a premise of personal success, and a motivating force behind the establishment of this organization - is the fact that there are so few organizations with the expressed mission to provide support, motivation and recognition of established and emerging artist right here at home - one of the great cities of the world.
