Miami, FL – Wednesday, December 14th Philanthropist and CEO of Slip n Slide Records Ted Lucas hosts the 1st annual Falcon & Dove event, an all-star black tie fundraiser to benefit the Ted Lucas Foundation at the Viceroy Hotel. Co-hosting the event NFL great Fred Taylor with including a performance by Black Violin.

Slide Records Ted Lucas will host the 1st annual Falcon & Dove event, an
all-star black tie fundraiser to benefit the Ted Lucas Foundation at the Viceroy
Hotel.
The event was co-hosted by NFL great Fred Taylor with performances by Black Violin. The Falcon & Dove event is to be held a top Club 50
housed at The Viceroy Hotel and will boast a celebrity guest list of Miami’s
‘whose who’ all coming out in support of Lucas’s Foundation. The Ted Lucas
Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides a support base to Miami’s
inner city kids by encouraging education and providing young people with the
skills necessary to achieve their own personal dreams, enabling them to
ultimately become productive members of society. ” I am proud of the important
work that Ted is doing in the city of Miami and jumped at the chance to lend my
name in support of this most worthy of causes,” explained Fred Taylor.
Ted Lucas
is a native Miamian famous for his founding of Slip N Slide records, one of the
most successful and recognized international record labels, selling an estimated
16 million albums, with a roster of chart topping recording artist that includes
Rick Ross, Trina and Trick Daddy to name a few. In 2008, The Florida Bar
Association’s Entertainment & Sports Law panel presented Lucas with the
prestigious Tom Dowd Lifetime Achievement Award. Lucas’s hometown success story
is grounded in philanthropy, which was the catalyst for the creation of The Ted
Lucas Foundation, which serves as a vehicle to give back to his native city. “My
primary objective is to give these kids a chance to learn the skills that they
will need to pursue whatever dreams and pursuits that they have for themselves.
It is paramount to me that I give back in substantive ways to a city and
community that I have so much love for and hopefully the Ted Lucas foundation
will enable me to accomplish that goal. I am so thankful for the family and
friends that are supporting this cause and look forward to a great and
charitable evening” explains Lucas. Philanthropist and CEO of Slip n Slide
Records Ted Lucas Falcon & Dove will transform Club 50 into an enchanted
garden in the clouds. The night’s festivities will include a vip reception with
special presentations from both the Miami Dade County Commissioner Barbara
Jordon and Councilman Oliver Gilbert of Miami Gardens. In addition a silent
auction with items from luxury watch maker Van Der Bauwede Geneve, over 13 sport
collectables from All Sports Henry Pascal and a special surprise, promise to
make this event an unforgettable evening.
